Each release on FreakWax is built from multiple audio files that can be combined in many ways. When you scratch a FreakWax record you're actually shuffling these audio files to reveal new combinations. When you land on a mix you love, you can claim it. That unique combination is saved to your collection forever and no-one else can have the exact same mix.

A master is the interactive playground where you explore different combinations by scratching virtual vinyl. An edition is what you take home: a specific combination you discovered and collected, with its own edition number. You can keep exploring the master to find more editions. Each one you collect is locked and becomes part of your personal collection.

Yes. Artists set the edition size when they create a release. Once they're gone, they're gone. No restocks, no exceptions. Each edition is numbered, so you'll always know you own #42 of 100 or #7 of 50.

You own the edition as a digital collectible. Your specific combination of audio files is yours to play, share and enjoy. However, you don't own the copyright to the underlying music or artwork. You can't use it commercially, sample it, or distribute it outside FreakWax. It's just common sense: if you collect a Lebron James basketball card, you don't own Lebron James. It's the same thing here.

Yes. Payments are processed through Stripe using industry-standard encryption. FreakWax never sees or stores your credit card details. You'll get an email confirmation instantly, and your edition appears in your collection immediately.

All sales are final because editions are digital and are delivered instantly. However, if there's a technical error that prevents you from accessing your edition, or if there's a problem with your payment, contact us (https://www.freakwax.com/contact)and we'll make it right.

Your collection lives in your FreakWax account. You can play your editions anytime through our web player: play all, custom sort, or pick specific editions. It's your personal, 21st-century jukebox.
